Love is in the air…or at least it appeared to be at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards.
Instead of using the red carpet to pose in their designer outfits, many celebrities chose to show off their dates. Machine Gun Kelly kneeled down to take photos of his “wife” Megan Fox (he said it, not us!); Travis Scott lovingly wrapped his arms around Kylie Jenner; Michael Buble cradled wife Luisana Lopilato’s baby bump. Call it love, call it a phony photo opportunity — any way you slice it, PDA brings some excitement to what is otherwise a pretty regimented activity.
And that buzz continued inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, where musicians such as Olivia Rodrigo, Drake, Taylor Swift, BTS, Doja Cat, Mary J. Blige and Dua Lipa (to name a few) took home awards.
