What is Amazon Prime Day, exactly?
You’ve heard the expression “Christmas in July”? Amazon Prime Day is basically Boxing Day in July. This is a limited-time shopping event that offers Prime members major deals across apparel, home, technology, beauty, personal care, and more for two days only.
When is Amazon Prime Day Canada 2023?
While the official dates for this year’s Amazon Prime Day haven’t been released just yet, Amazon usually schedules their famous annual sale for some time in mid-July (see: “Boxing Day in July” above). Based on previous years’ Prime Day dates, we anticipate that this year’s 48-hour mega-savings event will likely take place sometime between July 10 and 12. (Last year’s Prime Day event took place from Tuesday, July 12 to Wednesday, July 13.)
Who can take advantage of Amazon Prime Day deals?
To take advantage of the giant savings that this sale is known to offer, you’ll need to be a Prime member. After a complimentary 30-day free trial (which you should totally take advantage of during this year’s Prime Day sale if you can), a Canadian Prime membership costs $9.99 plus tax per month.
And there are other reasons to stick around after Prime Days are done — an Amazon Prime membership comes with a bunch of perks, like fast, free delivery on tons of products, exclusive deals year-round, access to Prime video and more.
What kind of deals can we expect during Amazon Prime Day Canada 2023?
Like most things Prime Day-related, the deals stay pretty top-secret until closer to the tw0-day event. That said, we’re still thinking about some of the sweet deals we shopped in 2022, including viral beauty products like CeraVe’s Foaming Face Cleanser and Revlon’s One Step Ionic Hair Dryer and Volumizer that were both seriously marked down. (Hot tip: The blow-dry brush is already $10 off ahead of Prime Day.) Watch this space for more Amazon Prime Day 2023 intel!
